Frequently Asked Questions

What is a blended learning course?

A blended learning course consists of self-paced online modules and an in-person skill session. The online modules must be completed prior to attending the in-person skills session.

I registered and paid for a class. Now what?

After purchasing a course, you will receive a confirmation email from Precision Training that includes further instructions for completing the online modules, directions, parking information, etc. You may need to check your junk mail, if you do not receive an email from us.

What is the difference between BLS and CPR?

When lives are on the line, it is critical that healthcare and professional responder staff have the skills and confidence to act in the moments that matter. Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is meant for healthcare professionals and first responders. This comprehensive, evidence-based curriculum goes beyond a cardiac focus. BLS courses meet competency verification, education, credentialing and privileging requirements. CPR classes are the foundation of workplace safety training, giving immediate responders a mastery of lifesaving techniques and the confidence to act when moments matter, be the cardiac emergency be at home, at school, or in their community.

How long does it take to complete the online modules?

For most participants, it can take 45 minutes to two hours to complete the online modules depending on the class.

When does my CPR certification expire?

Most American Red Cross certifications expire 2 years from the date of certification

What should I wear during training?

We encourage participants to wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes during class. We will be practicing scenarios, and may need to move around the classroom.

Can I take a certification course online only?

Most of our course offerings are OSHA approved and required an in-person skills check to receive a certification.
